New Twist as Sifuna Babu and other Linda Mwananchi Politicians Makes This Unexpected Move

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has welcomed the Linda Mwananchi brigade to his Wamunyoro residence, sending a strong political message about unity and cooperation among leaders seeking change in Kenya.

The delegation was led by Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino and Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi. Their visit brought together leaders associated with the Linda Mwananchi movement, which has been attracting attention in the country’s political scene.

Welcoming the visitors, Gachagua warmly referred to them as his cousins and expressed optimism about what could happen when leaders work together.

“Welcome to Wamunyoro residence, my cousins from Linda Mwananchi. When we come together, great things must happen,” Gachagua stated.

His remarks highlighted the importance of unity among political leaders who share concerns about the country’s direction and the need to address issues affecting ordinary Kenyans.

The meeting also attracted public interest because of the political influence of the leaders involved. Sifuna, Babu and Osotsi have been vocal on various national issues, making their engagement with Gachagua an event likely to generate political debate.

Although the full details of their discussions were not immediately clear, the meeting could fuel further conversations about possible political cooperation ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Kenyans will be keen to see whether the gathering leads to a stronger working relationship among the leaders and whether they can agree on a common agenda.

Gachagua’s statement has added to the growing political conversations surrounding the Linda Mwananchi brigade and its possible role in shaping the country’s political future.

For now, the Wamunyoro meeting has placed unity and cooperation at the centre of public discussion.
