Angel Reese, Latto danced courtside in Golden State to celebrate WNBA Finals win

Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream beat the Golden State Valkyries, 79-65, on Monday to even the WNBA Finals at 1-1 as the series shifts back to Georgia. The teams will play the next two games at State Farm Arena in Atlanta after some consternation, but tonight the Dream weren’t the only representatives from Atlanta in town.

Latto, the Atlanta rapper and singer, was seated courtside at the Chase Center during the game. After the Dream won, Reese found Latto and the two danced and posed for pictures together.

Reese was unstoppable in Game 2. She was the contest’s leading scorer and rebounder with 30 points 16 boards. She was 10-of-16 from the field. She took one three-pointer and made it. She hit 9-of-11 free throws. She also had three assists, two blocks and a steal.

When teammate Alisha Gray was asked how the Dream pulled away in a close game during the third quarter, she had a simple response.

When asked what made the difference tonight, Allisha Gray had only two words: “Angel Reese.” 😂 https://t.co/l4xYVUq6W1

“She just came out on a mission tonight,” said Gray. “I mean she was very aggressive. I remember last game she was saying she needed to be more aggressive and more adamant about going to the ball and she did exactly what we needed of her.”

Reese will be ready when the series resumes. And she expects the same enthusiasm from Atlanta.
