55 tonnes of mislabelled food products worth ₹33.94 lakh seized from snack manufacturing units in Hyderabad

The enforcement teams inspected five manufacturing units of Sahil Foods, a company engaged in the manufacture and sale of snacks and savouries, on October 19The Telangana Standards Authority for Food and Essential Drugs (TG SAFE) has seized 55 tonnes of mislabelled food products worth ₹33.94 lakh from Sahil Foods’ manufacturing units located in Premavatipet near Katedan area of Hyderabad, following inspections that revealed multiple food safety violations.
