Edwin Sifuna Finally Reveals Next Linda Mwanainchi Rally After Long Break
Former Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary-General and Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has officially announced the date and venue for the next Linda Mwananchi Movement rally.
Breaking a prolonged pause in public tours, Sifuna shared a poster via his social media platforms confirming that the movement will head to Kwale County on Saturday, October 31, 2026.
Accompanying the banner, Sifuna wrote, “Juu mmeitisha rally sana, tupatane Kwale!” responding to eager calls from supporters who have been clamoring for the movement’s return to the political trail.
The brief hiatus followed intense background work surrounding the registration of Linda Mwananchi as an official political party. According to sources close to Sifuna, navigating the statutory registration hurdles was no walk in the park.
The movement recently achieved a major milestone after the Registrar of Political Parties approved statutory requirements to rebrand and rename The Equitable Party (TEP) into the Linda Mwananchi Movement (LMM).
The upcoming Kwale tour marks a critical step as Sifuna expands his grassroots mobilization beyond Nairobi ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Having already engaged local leaders and aspirants in the Coastal region, Sifuna and his ally team aim to consolidate political support and roll out aspirant registration guidelines.
Supporters across the country now anticipate a fiery campaign revival as Linda Mwananchi gears up to make its grand return in Kwale.
