Situation as Sifuna, Babu Owino Land in Kisumu International Airport En route To Raila’s Memorial

Momentum has built rapidly across the Nyanza region as high-profile opposition leaders have landed at Kisumu International Airport en route to the major memorial event in Bondo.

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and Embakasi East MP Babu Owino have arrived to a warm reception from eager supporters and local representatives gathered at the terminal.

Their arrival has underscored the national significance of the first anniversary commemoration, drawing immense public attention as political figures converge on Siaya County.

Upon landing, the leaders have made immediate arrangements to travel by road to the Kang’o Ka Jaramogi homestead. They have joined a growing delegation of national dignitaries, government officials, and international guests who have confirmed their attendance for the historic gathering.

Despite the influx of high-profile visitors, organizers have maintained strict guidelines to preserve a peaceful atmosphere throughout the day.

Family leadership has requested all arriving guests to observe decorum and refrain from engaging in political posturing.

Meanwhile, administrative teams and security personnel have secured key transport corridors linking Kisumu and Bondo to ensure seamless travel for arriving dignitaries.

Local residents have lined major roadways to welcome visiting leaders who have traveled from various parts of the country to pay their respects.

Party representatives have noted that the presence of prominent figures has demonstrated remarkable unity during this pivotal moment of national reflection.

In addition, event coordinators at the family compound have finalized all seating and security protocols as dignitaries have continued to arrive.

While ODM Party Leader Dr. Oburu Odinga has remained away recovering from health state, Kisii Governor Simba Arati has prepared to deliver his official address during the ceremony.

The stage has been fully set in Bondo for an extraordinary memorial honoring a lifetime of legendary public service.
