We’re going to sing, we’re going to dance all the way back to Aso Rock – Governor Adeleke Declares

According to report by Vanguard on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has declared his readiness to mobilise support for President Bola Tinubu’s bid for a second term in office, expressing confidence that the president will emerge victorious in the 2027 presidential election.

Adeleke made the declaration on Wednesday in Abuja during the inauguration of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.

The Osun governor, who is widely known for his energetic dancing at public events, also shared a dance with President Tinubu during the ceremony.

Speaking at the event, Adeleke said he could already sense victory for Tinubu in the forthcoming election, insisting that the political movement supporting the president could not be stopped.

“I can feel the victory coming in 2027. Nobody can stop this movement. I’m ready to lead this movement,” he said.

The governor further promised that the campaign would be conducted with enthusiasm and celebration as supporters worked to secure Tinubu’s return to the presidential seat.

“We’re going to sing, we’re going to dance all the way back to Aso Rock,” Adeleke stated.

He also appealed to Nigerians to give the Tinubu administration sufficient time to implement its ongoing reforms.

While acknowledging that the policies had created challenges, Adeleke argued that the government needed more time for the reforms to produce the desired results.

“Everybody that is thinking otherwise, we must give our father, the President of this nation, time to work for his reforms to work. It’s not easy,” he said.

Adeleke explained that his decision to support the campaign was motivated by a desire for concrete action rather than prolonged political discussions.

“That is why I am here to throw my weight because we want action, not too much talking. We don’t have time; work has begun. I’ve already started mine,” he added.

The governor’s appearance at the event further highlighted his active involvement in efforts to secure Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
