Ukraine: We Have Massive Attacks Today, It’s A Pity That We Have Also Some Difficulties–Zelenskyy

According to a report by Sky News on Wednesday October 14, 2026, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has declared that Ukraine is prepared to accept any form of ceasefire as the country continues to face massive attacks.

Speaking alongside Andy Burnham, Zelenskyy reiterated Kyiv’s readiness for a ceasefire while highlighting ongoing security challenges and the importance of maintaining a strong partnership with the United States.

“Ukraine is ready for any kind of ceasefire”, he said.

However, the Ukrainian leader acknowledged that his country was experiencing significant difficulties amid the continuing attacks.

“We have massive attacks today, and it’s a pity that we have also some difficulties,” he said.

Zelenskyy also identified Starlink services and intelligence cooperation as important issues he wanted to discuss with the American leadership, apparently referring to US President Donald Trump and his administration.

“What I want to discuss with them [is] about Starlink and about intelligence,” he added.

The Ukrainian president’s comments highlighted Kyiv’s concerns about the reliability of its international partnerships and the need for clear communication between allies.

He suggested that unexpected developments could emerge even within established relationships, emphasising the importance of transparency and mutual understanding in cooperation with Washington.

“I mean, there are lots of different surprises on which you can’t count on when you have a partnership. And we count on partnership with the United States.

“We just want to be very honest, very clear and be strong partners.”

His remarks underscored Ukraine’s desire to maintain a dependable relationship with the United States, particularly as the country continues to confront military pressure and seeks support for its security needs.

Before Zelenskyy delivered his remarks, Burnham informed the Ukrainian president that the United Kingdom was speeding up the delivery of British-made air defence systems.

The announcement signals Britain’s continued efforts to strengthen Ukraine’s defensive capabilities as Kyiv faces ongoing attacks and works to secure international support for its military and diplomatic objectives.
