Earlier, Saudi air defence systems intercepted and destroyed several missiles and drones launched by Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi militia as fighting between the rebels and the Saudi-led coalition intensified.
The latest attacks targeted several locations across the kingdom, including Riyadh and Dhahran in the east, where a building belonging to state-owned oil giant Saudi Aramco was targeted.
Saudi authorities earlier reported that four people were injured in Riyadh when debris from intercepted missiles fell on residential areas, damaging 15 homes.
A limited fire also broke out at the Aramco facility in Dhahran. Officials confirmed that no one was injured or killed in the incident.
