NDLEA Empowers Drug Recovery Clients

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, says vocational skills acquisition is vital to the rehabilitation and successful reintegration of drug recovery clients into the society.

The Oyo State Commander of the agency, Commander Adetula Lawal, stated this during a working visit to the Musa Bamayi Serenity Rehabilitation Centre in Iseyin, Oke-Ogun area of Oyo State,

The visit was to assess the progress of drug recovery clients and inspect ongoing developments at the facility.

Commander Lawal inspected the shoemaking and tailoring workshops, where clients were acquiring practical skills for self-reliance.

They demonstrated their progress by presenting shoes and clothes they had produced, to indicate their readiness for productive engagement after rehabilitation.
