The position of Deputy Youth Organiser is an important one within the party, as it involves mobilising young members, coordinating youth activities, and supporting the broader agenda of the NDC in the region.

The Greater Accra Region is a key battleground for the NDC, and the role of youth organiser carries significant weight in rallying young voters and party faithful. As a result, contests for such positions often attract considerable attention from party members and stakeholders.

Afenyo Odai’s move to file his nomination today signals his readiness to engage in the internal democratic processes of the party. It also sets the stage for what could be a competitive race, depending on the number of other aspirants who enter the contest.

Supporters of the aspirant are expected to accompany him as he submits his nomination forms. The filing process is a standard requirement for all candidates seeking elective positions within the NDC, and it formally confirms their intention to run.
