DEMOLITION has begun at a once-bustling mega mall after nearly five decades of serving shoppers.The former retail hotspot, once home to major department stores including Sears and JCPenney, is now being torn down to make way for a massive $150million transformation.Greenspoint Mall in Houston, Texas, is set to be replaced by a sprawling industrial park after shutting its doors for good in 2024.
