Change The Candidate Or You Loss 2028 Election – Prophet Owusu Bempah Warns NPP

Prophet Isaac Owusu Bempah, founder of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has warned the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to learn from its past electoral mistakes ahead of its presidential primaries.

Speaking in a widely circulated TikTok video, the preacher cautioned that the party could face a prolonged period in opposition if it ignores the lessons of the 2024 elections.

He interpreted the NPP’s defeat as a spiritual message, arguing that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s loss to President John Dramani Mahama was more than an ordinary electoral setback. In his view, the result suggested that the party had failed to recognise the candidate favoured by God.

Owusu Bempah also questioned the party’s performance, pointing to its failure to secure 40 per cent of the votes. He claimed that some traditional supporters, including people from the Ashanti Region, withheld their support for reasons the party should carefully examine.

He advised NPP delegates to seek divine guidance when choosing between Dr. Bawumia and former MP Kennedy Ohene Agyapong in the upcoming presidential primaries.

According to him, selecting the right candidate could help the party avoid another defeat in the 2028 general elections.

His warning has prompted varied reactions across the country. While some people have taken his remarks seriously, others remain committed to the candidates they support.
