“APC Wants To Frustrate The Opposition Ahead Of The Election, But It Will Fail” – Primate Ayodele

Primate Elijah Ayodele in a video shared on Facebook on Wednesday October 14, 2026 has warned the All Progressives Congress (APC) against its alleged efforts to frustrate opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general election, claiming that attempts to ridicule and undermine political opponents could ultimately work against the ruling party.

In his prophetic message, Ayodele said the APC would attempt to frustrate the opposition as the election approaches, but maintained that the party’s efforts would not produce the outcome it expects.

According to the cleric, the ruling party’s attempts to ridicule opposition figures and make their political activities more difficult would not necessarily guarantee victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the next presidential election.

“The election is just a few weeks to come. APC will frustrate all effort of opposition,” Ayodele said.

He continued by warning that the ruling party’s approach could eventually produce the opposite of what it hopes to achieve.

“They wanted to ridicule all opposition and the more they are doing it, the more they are going to fail,” the cleric stated.

Ayodele’s message suggests that the APC should not assume that putting pressure on opposition parties would automatically strengthen its chances in 2027. Instead, he believes the party could encounter difficulties if it continues trying to undermine its political opponents.

The warning comes amid growing political realignments ahead of the 2027 presidential election, with opposition figures seeking to challenge Tinubu’s administration. Politicians such as former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra State governor Peter Obi remain prominent in discussions about the opposition’s prospects.
