17 Afghan nationals detained during search operation in Lahore

Police detained 17 Afghan nationals in search operations in Lahore after they failed to provide identification documents during snap checking, reported 24NewsHD TV on Wednesday.

According to police, the detained individuals were shifted to Factory Area Police Station for further investigation.

Police said verification of their identity and legal status is underway.

The Afghan nationals found to be residing in Pakistan illegally will be deported after completion of the verification process, officials added.
