What Tunji Disu Did When He Was Commissioner Of Police And There Was Crisis In Rivers State- Fubara

The governor of Rivers state, Siminalayi Fubara has revealed what the Inspector General of Police, Tunji Disu did when there was political crisis in Rivers state.

This was contained in a report that was posted on the official X handle of Channels TV on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

In the report that surfaced online, the Rivers state governor revealed that Tunji Disu was Commissioner of Police during the political crisis in Rivers state. He said during the time, Tunji Disu did his work not minding the situation of things. The Rivers state governor said he did all he could to balance things during the time.

Here is what Siminalayi Fubara said according to Channels TV;

“While he was here as a Commissioner of Police, he was here at the peak of crisis. But I can tell you that he did his work not minding the situation. He tried as much as he could to balance all the areas”.
