Van Vicker Reacts To AI Photos With Regina Daniels, Reveals He Has Not Seen Her In Over 10 Years

Ghanaian movie star Van Vicker has reacted to a collection of artificial intelligence-generated photographs that appear to tell a story about his relationship with Nigerian actress Regina Daniels over the years.

The images, which surfaced online, create the impression that Van Vicker and Daniels shared moments at different stages of their lives. One of the pictures shows a younger-looking Van Vicker carrying a child, with the image labelled as being from 2010. The child is presented as a young Regina Daniels.

A separate image, dated 2026, portrays the two actors as adults, giving the appearance of a connection that continued over many years.

However, Van Vicker has warned social media users against accepting the pictures as genuine. In a post published on his official Instagram account, @iam_vanvicker, on Monday, October 5, 2026, the actor identified the images as creations produced with artificial intelligence.

While clarifying the matter, Van Vicker acknowledged that he had worked professionally with Regina Daniels when she was much younger. He nevertheless explained that the viral pictures should not be regarded as authentic photographs documenting their shared history.

The actor also revealed that he has not seen Daniels for more than 10 years, further questioning the impression created by the newly circulating images.

The clarification comes amid growing concerns over the ability of AI tools to produce realistic photographs involving public figures. Such technology can place familiar faces into scenes, locations and periods that may never have existed, potentially causing viewers to mistake fabricated material for genuine memories.

Van Vicker’s response highlights the importance of verifying unusual celebrity photographs before sharing them online. Images that appear to provide evidence of past events may, in reality, have been digitally manufactured.
