“The Masses Are Bigger Than All Of You”- VeryDarkMan Fires At Tinubu Over Wike’s Election Remarks

Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has criticised President Bola Tinubu over what he described as growing impunity among government officials, following comments by the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, about a state election.

In his remarks, VDM questioned the level of political power wielded by government officials and accused the president of allowing some members of his administration to act without restraint in pursuit of a second term.

Addressing Tinubu directly, the activist said the situation had raised concerns about the treatment of Nigerians and the attitude of political leaders towards the electorate.

“President Tinubu, imagine the kind of impunity you have enabled in Nigeria, all in the name of securing a second term. You have allowed power-intoxicated like the FCT Minister to forget their place,” he said.

VDM also questioned Wike’s reported claim about controlling a state election, asking whether the minister understood the power of the people in a democratic system.

He maintained that the electorate remained more powerful than individual politicians and warned that the outcome of the 2027 general election could not be taken for granted.

“The masses are bigger than all of you. Nobody knows the outcome of the 2027 election because you people have pushed Nigerians to the wall,” the activist added.

The outspoken social media personality further blamed Nigerians who, in his view, allow tribal and religious differences to prevent them from uniting over issues affecting the country.

“I blame the people that refuse to unit, always using tribal card and religion,” he said.

His comments come amid continuing political discussions surrounding the 2027 general election and the influence of political officeholders in Nigeria’s electoral process.
