“Kalonzo is Very Honest” Ichungwah Praises Kalonzo, Hints on Gov’t Efforts to Court Him

National Assembly Majority Leader Hon Kimani Ichung’wah has praised Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka for acknowledging government development projects, including road construction in Kitui and other parts of the country.

Speaking during a parliamentary session, Ichung’wah said Kalonzo had openly recognised ongoing infrastructure works, describing his remarks as a sign of honesty across the political divide.

Ichung’wah also highlighted government plans involving road networks, drainage systems and market upgrades, saying the projects were intended to benefit citizens regardless of their political affiliations.

His praise for Kalonzo has drawn attention to relations between the government and opposition leaders ahead of the 2027 General Election.

Kalonzo, a former Vice President, leads the Wiper Patriotic Front party and remains a prominent opposition figure.
