Garbage truck crash closes intersection: Police

LOWELLVILLE, Ohio (WKBN) – A dump truck hauling gravel rolled over in Lowellville, closing an intersection Tuesday morning.

The Lowellville Police Department said the incident happened at the intersection of Washington Street and East Jackson Street by the Mount Carmel Society around 8:30 a.m.

Police said the dump truck slid on the road and fell on its side. No injuries were reported.

The area is blocked off until the crash is cleared.
