The Spanish giants fell behind in the first half but responded with a strong attacking display, scoring once before the break and adding three more goals in the second period. The result marked Barcelona’s second consecutive Champions League victory following their 5-1 triumph over Feyenoord in their opening fixture.
Galatasaray made a bright start in front of their home supporters and took the lead in the 28th minute through Aleksey Batrakov, raising hopes of an upset against the Catalan side.
The Turkish hosts threatened to extend their advantage, but a subsequent goal was ruled out for offside following a VAR review, giving Barcelona an opportunity to recover.

Barcelona returned from the interval with greater intensity and took the lead in the 50th minute through Fermin Lopez, who finished a move created by teenage winger Lamine Yamal.
Just three minutes later, Anthony Gordon increased the visitors’ advantage, with Yamal again playing an important role in breaking down Galatasaray’s defence.
