12-year-old innocent bystander shot twice when gunman opens fire in the Bronx

A 12-year-old girl was shot twice when a gunman opened fire outside a Bronx apartment building Monday, cops said.

The pre-teen was struck in the torso and foot outside the residential building on Tratman Ave. near Rowland St. in Westchester Square around 8:30 p.m., police said.

Medics rushed the girl to Montefiore Medical Center, where she’s expected to survive. The victim was an innocent bystander, cops said.

Police are looking for two boys between the ages of 15 and 18, who were spotted fleeing the scene on foot wearing all black. There were no arrests.
