Musk promises affordable Starlink in India without announcing a tariff

Elon Musk has promised affordable Starlink service in India, but has not specified the price customers would pay, Reuters reported on Sunday. The pledge comes as satellite broadband providers compete for a position in a market where ordinary mobile data is already comparatively inexpensive. A commitment to affordability is therefore not enough to establish how Starlink would compare with existing internet packages.
