Ghanaian players returned to club action across Europe after the September international break, with Augustine Boakye scoring for Saint-Étienne, while Osman Bukari and Mohamed Fuseini provided assists for their respective clubs.

Boakye continued his fine form in France, scoring his fifth league goal of the season for Saint-Étienne against Rodez. The Ghana international played 79 minutes and marked his return to club football with another goal.

In England, Fuseini recorded his first assist of the season for Derby County against Wrexham. The forward now has two goal involvements in his last two league appearances after playing 72 minutes.

Bukari also made an impact in Serbia, coming off the bench to provide an assist in Red Star Belgrade’s 3-0 win over Radnički in the Serbian SuperLiga.

The 27-year-old created three chances, the most in the match, and completed one of his five attempted dribbles. He also made four tackles and recorded seven recoveries. Bukari now has one goal and two assists in seven league appearances.

His Red Star teammate Derick Luckassen played 63 minutes and helped the side keep a clean sheet. The defender won all his ground duels, made three clearances and recorded three recoveries.

Meanwhile, Antoine Semenyo played the full 90 minutes as Manchester City beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield. The Ghanaian forward created one big chance, completed his only attempted dribble and made three passes into the final third. He also recorded three recoveries.

Semenyo now has two goals and three assists in six Premier League appearances this season.

The Ghanaian midfielder, who missed the Black Stars’ September AFCON 2027 qualifiers, played 66 minutes but failed to register a shot or create a chance. He completed two of seven attempted dribbles and made four recoveries.

In Switzerland, goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi kept his second clean sheet in nine appearances as St. Gallen beat Lausanne 1-0 in the Swiss top flight.

Ati-Zigi made four saves and recorded 11 recoveries. He completed 15 of his 30 attempted long balls and made 20 accurate passes from 35 attempts.

In Turkey, Jesurun Rak-Sakyi scored his first Turkish Süper Lig goal of the season for Kasımpaşa, but his effort could not prevent a 3-1 defeat to Galatasaray.
