EPL Table After Man City Won 3-0

According to a report by BBC Sport on Sunday, October 11, 2026, Manchester City secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Liverpool after scoring three goals in the second half of their encounter.

Both teams created opportunities during a goalless first half but struggled to find the breakthrough. Gianluigi Donnarumma made important saves to keep Liverpool from scoring before the interval.

Liverpool threatened through Victor Munoz and Lewis Koumas, while Manchester City created chances through Antoine Semenyo and Rayan Cherki. However, both defences remained organised, ensuring neither side found the net in the opening 45 minutes.

The game changed dramatically in the second half when Ryan Gravenberch received his second yellow card in the 62nd minute, leaving Liverpool with ten men. Manchester City took advantage of their numerical superiority and increased the pressure on the home side.

Erling Haaland broke the deadlock in the 65th minute after reacting quickly to a rebound inside the penalty area before firing into the bottom-left corner to give City the lead.

Despite late pressure and three minutes of added time, Liverpool failed to score. Manchester City secured a comprehensive 3-0 victory, with Haaland, Doku and Cherki finding the net after half-time to seal the result.
