Cristiano Ronaldo Scores Again as He Closes In on 1,000 Career Goals

According to Sky Sports, published on October 12, 2026, Cristiano Ronaldo scored for Al Nassr against Neftchi as his side secured a 3-1 victory, continuing his pursuit of 1,000 career goals.

Ronaldo found the net in the 42nd minute, according to the live match details provided. His goal came after Ângelo opened the scoring in the 33rd minute, giving Al Nassr an early advantage.

The final score was 3-1 in favour of Al Nassr, completing a positive result for the Saudi Arabian club. Ronaldo’s contribution also continued his scoring run following the international break.

The Portuguese forward has attracted considerable attention as he approaches the possibility of reaching 1,000 career goals. The milestone would be a significant achievement for a player who has maintained a prolific scoring record across several major clubs and international competitions.

Ronaldo previously represented Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus before joining Al Nassr. His continued involvement in the Saudi Pro League has kept fans interested in how many more goals he can score before reaching the historic target.

The reported career tally of 981 goals would leave Ronaldo 19 short of the 1,000-goal mark. However, that figure should be confirmed against an updated and reliable statistical source before publication.

Al Nassr’s 3-1 win over Neftchi gives the club a positive result, while Ronaldo’s goal provides another talking point for supporters tracking his individual progress. His latest strike comes as attention continues to build around the possibility of reaching four figures in career goals.

With the match now concluded, the final score can be included in the report. Ronaldo’s updated career tally should still be checked against a reliable source before the article is submitted.
