Big drop in gold and silver prices globally and locally

Karachi: A significant drop in gold and silver prices has been recorded at both global and local levels. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola decreased by Rs2,100 to Rs439,936, while the rate for 10 grams of gold fell by Rs1,800 to Rs377,174.

Similarly, the price of 24-karat silver per tola dropped by Rs23 to settle at Rs6,532. Meanwhile, in the international market, the price of gold per ounce declined by $21, reaching the level of $4,174.
