Atiku’s Aide Reacts To The Comment That Abike Dabiri Made Against Rufai At A Public Event In Lagos

Paul Ibe, the Special Adviser on Media to the former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar has reacted to the statement that Chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOMM, Abike Dabiri made about journalist, Rufai Oseni.

The statement of Paul Ibe was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on October 11, 2026.

In the statement that Paul Ibe made on his official X handle, he said Abike Dabiri attacked Rufai Oseni at the event.

He said instead of attacking the journalist, the Chairman of NIDCOMM should have explained herself.

Paul Ibe stated that as the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri owes every Nigerian respect and sensitivity.

“Rather than attacking Rufai Oseni at the Lagos event, you should explain your reaction.

“The public deserves an explanation not attacks on journalists asking legitimate questions”.
