Army deployment ordered in KP under Article 245 after emergency decision

ISLAMABAD — The federal government has ordered the Pakistan Army to assist the governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in maintaining law and order under Article 245, following the decision to impose emergency measures in the province.Sunday’s deployment notification is an implementation step beyond the earlier approval of federal intervention.
