During an April 2024 interview on Next Question with Katie Couric, the momager jokingly confessed, “I go to bed every night thinking, ‘Okay, how many kids did I get to see today?’ That’s kind of my little treat I give myself is just can’t say counting sheep — I count grandkids.”

The baker’s dozen to call their grandmother, Kris, “Lovey” are Kourtney Kardashian’s four children — sons Mason Disick, Reign Disick and Rocky Barker and daughter Penelope Disick; Kim Kardashian’s brood of four — North West, Saint West, Chicago West and Psalm West; Khloé Kardashian’s two children — daughter True Thompson and son Tatum Thompson; Rob Kardashian’s daughter Dream Kardashian; and Kylie Jenner’s two kids — daughter Stormi Webster and son Aire Webster.

While she adores bonding with her grandchildren, Kris admitted that all the counting can get a little overwhelming, especially when hosting during the holidays.

“I just have to take a deep breath and realize I’m outnumbered. There are 13 of them! You can’t control that kind of chaos,” she told PEOPLE in December 2024, adding, “It’s so much fun.”

On April 27, 2019, Kris was joined by a handful of her granddaughters as she and the KarJenner family celebrated Psalm’s impending arrival at Kim’s baby shower. Psalm, the youngest of Kim’s quartet, was born via surrogate on May 9, 2019.

To celebrate Psalm’s 1st birthday in May 2020, Kris shared a precious photo of herself giving him a kiss on the cheek.

“You are the icing on our family cake precious baby and I love you so much… thank you for that delicious smile you give me every single time I see you,” she wrote on Instagram.

Kris posted a selfie with Mason as she celebrated his and Reign’s birthdays in December 2020.

“Mason and Reign you are both such a big part of my heart and I’m so very proud of you!!!” she wrote on Instagram.

In the same Instagram slideshow for Kourtney’s sons’ joint birthdays, Kris also posted this sweet photo of herself and Reign hanging out on a slide.

“You are the most amazing grandsons and I love you more than you will ever know,” she concluded the post.

Kourtney and ex Scott Disick’s eldest child, son Mason, was born on Dec. 14, 2009, and their youngest child, son Reign, arrived exactly five years later in 2014.

Kris called Chicago her “precious little angel” as she celebrated the little one’s 3rd birthday on Jan. 15, 2021, posting a photo of herself holding her smiling granddaughter.

“You are such a bright light and I am beyond thankful to God that He chose me to be your Grandmother!!!” she wrote on Instagram.

Kris celebrated True’s 3rd birthday in style, with the extended family throwing her an extravagant celebration on April 12, 2021 — complete with a bounce house, cookie decorating and Disney princesses.

Also, in honor of True’s 3rd birthday, Kris posted a photo of Khloé’s daughter kissing her on the cheek as they relaxed by the pool.

“You are such an incredible blessing and it brings me so much joy to watch you grow,” she shared in her Instagram caption. “You have the sweetest soul, just like your mommy, and you make us all smile every day!”

For Psalm’s 2nd birthday, Kris shared a gallery of images of them, including one of her holding him as he sipped on a bottle. Referring to her grandson as “little Psalmy,” Kris wrote on Instagram in May 2021, “Your tender spirit brightens every day!!”

Kris honored North’s 8th birthday by sharing a slew of photos on Instagram, including this black-and-white shot of them laughing together. (North was born on June 15, 2013.)

“You are truly such a ray of sunshine and you light up every room with your amazing smile and huge heart,” the proud grandma wrote in the caption.

Kris and Penelope wore matching lemon-print dresses in this adorable throwback photo the elated grandma shared for Kourtney’s daughter’s 9th birthday in 2021. Penelope was born on July 8, 2012.

“You are the brightest light, the smartest girl, the most amazing chef, an incredible musician, the most creative at planning special events and surprises, the most thoughtful granddaughter, amazing daughter, sister, cousin and niece and make every single day I am with you very special!” the mom of six captioned the photo, in part, on Instagram.

For Dream’s 5th birthday tribute on Instagram on Nov. 10, 2021, Kris shared an adorable photo of the two in their Halloween costumes. Dream dressed as Belle from Beauty and the Beast, while Kris donned a Jack Skellington getup from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

Also in November 2021, Kris shared a sweet photo of her and Dream matching in white. “Happy birthday to my precious beautiful granddaughter Dream!” she wrote. “You are truly a DREAM GIRL and you bring such joy and happiness to all of our lives!”

Kris celebrated her “little Sainty” as he rang in his 6th birthday on Dec. 5, 2021.

“You are the sweetest boy who warms my heart and lights up every room with your big delicious smile!” she captioned a handful of photos on Instagram, including one of herself hugging Saint as both wore huge smiles on their faces.

To honor Stormi’s 4th birthday on Feb. 1, 2022, Kris shared a throwback photo of herself kissing Kylie’s daughter on the cheek.

After calling her “the light of our lives,” Kris continued in her Instagram caption, “You are the most amazing daughter, granddaughter, cousin and friend and we are all so blessed to have you in our lives.”

In April 2022, Kim shared this sweet photo on Instagram of Grandma Kris hanging out with Chicago, Stormi and Dream during the family’s Easter celebration.

Kris paid tribute to True for her 4th birthday in April 2022.

Alongside a handful of photos of them together, she wrote, in part, on Instagram: “You are kind, sweet, thoughtful, funny, smart, and curious… always learning and playing and joyful! You have a smile that lights up a room and you give the best hugs! Thank you for all of the love you always give all of us 💕 I love you to the moon and back precious adorable True!!!!”

For True’s 6th birthday in April 2024, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted a series of photos of the two over the years, including an adorable snap of the two on Easter.

“Words cannot express the pride and joy I feel watching you grow into the incredible young lady you are becoming,” Kris wrote in her Instagram caption. “You are the most amazing daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin and friend and you have the best dance moves! You are kind, sweet, thoughtful, funny, your energy and love for life is so infectious and you spread so much love and happiness wherever you go.”

In April 2024, Kim melted hearts when she shared an adorable black-and-white photo of her mom snuggling grandsons Saint and Tatum. In the picture, Kris embraces Tatum, who’s focused on a ball in his hand, while Saint sits on the other side, arms wrapped around his little cousin.

“My whole heart,” Kim wrote on Instagram.

When Tatum turned 2 on July 28, 2024, Kris posted adorable snapshots of the toddler with his loved ones on Instagram, including a sweet moment of herself holding Khloé’s son on her lap.

“You are such a beautiful boy filled with wonder, joy, amazement, curiosity and so so so much love,” she wrote in part. “You are the sweetest most special little love bug and every day fill me with such happiness and the best energy to start my days. I am so blessed God chose me to be your Grandma and I love you beyond measure!!!!”

Kris seems to love this photo a lot because she’s shared it a few times on social media! Why wouldn’t she be smitten by her children and grandchildren, including Kim and her brood, rocking pajamas with her face emblazoned on them?

The nightwear was part of Kris’ 69th birthday celebrations in November 2024, though we do hope they got a few more wears out of the unique sets.

Who needs a stoic Kardashian-Jenner holiday photo when you can be silly? Kris made goofy faces alongside Kim and her kids as they stood in front of a lit-up Christmas tree.

The matriarch shared the photo in honor of Chicago’s 8th birthday in 2026, writing on Instagram in part, “You bring such joy, warmth, and love into our lives, and it’s impossible not to smile when you’re around. You remind me so much of your mommy when she was your age. You are kind, funny, thoughtful, caring, full of love, and the smartest little girl.”

Kris looked super chic in her black-and-white striped, pineapple-adorned dress as she posed for a photo with Stormi during an overseas vacation. The proud grandma shared the throwback photo in February 2026 for Kylie’s kids’ back-to-back birthdays — Stormi celebrates on Feb. 1, while her little brother Aire was born on Feb. 2.

“You are both loved beyond measure, and you make our world brighter every single day. Happy birthday my angels!” Kris wrote on Instagram.
