Security forces foil weapons smuggling attempt from Afghanistan in Pishin
Security forces and the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan have thwarted an alleged attempt to smuggle weapons and ammunition from Afghanistan during a joint operation conducted under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3, security sources said on Sunday.
According to the sources, the forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in Pishin district, disrupting a plan to transport ammunition from across the Afghan border.
During a search of a warehouse in the Saranan area, personnel intercepted a vehicle carrying weapons and ammunition, the sources said.
The seized arms included three rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launchers, four light machine guns, one machine gun, hand grenades, rockets and a substantial quantity of ammunition.

Security sources said a search operation was continuing in the area to determine whether any terrorist elements were present.
Security forces and law enforcement agencies reaffirmed their commitment to preserving peace and stability in Balochistan and taking action against terrorism.
