Ruto Spotted Lecturing His Manager After Visiting Koilel Dairy Farm – Video

President William Ruto was seen giving his farm manager a stern talking to after he visited his dairy farm in Koilel, Trans Nzoia County. The visit came after the Mazingira Day event in the county, where the president had been the chief guest.

A video shared by Dennis Itumbi shows the president walking around the farm and inspecting the feed given to the cows. He then turns to the manager and speaks to him at length, with the manager listening closely. What the president said cannot be heard in the clip, so the reason for his apparent displeasure is not known.

His face, however, told a story. Those who watched the video noted that he did not look impressed, and his body language suggested he was pointing out something he wanted fixed. Whether it was the quality of the feed, the way it was stored or another issue on the farm has not been explained, and no one from the farm has commented.

The president has often spoken about farming and has recently urged Kenyans to take up camel and buffalo farming for milk. His own dairy operations at Koilel have featured in the news before, and the visit comes as he continues to promote agriculture as a source of income.

Itumbi has been a regular source of videos from the president’s engagements, and the clip adds a rare glimpse of Ruto in a more personal setting, away from the podium. Seeing the head of state check on animal feed himself seems to show a man who likes to know the details of his own business.
