Reactions Trail Comment Of Ogun PDP Gov Candidate As INEC Excludes His Name From 2027 Elections

Social media users have taken to their official X account on Sunday, October 11, 2026 to react to the statement that was made by the PDP governorship candidate in Ogun state, Oladipupo Adebutu after his name was omitted by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

According to The Guardian, INEC omitted Oladipupo Adebutu from the final list of candidates for the Ogun state governorship election that has been scheduled to hold on February 6, 2027.

In the statement that the PDP candidate shared on his official X account, he stated that he is a registered member of PDP and that he completed his digital registration within the stipulated time. Adebutu however, urged his supporters to remain calm.

According to Adebutu on his official X account;

“Furthermore, the governorship primary that produced me as the party’s candidate was conducted with INEC officials in attendance as observers. The relevant documents were presented for verification, certification and confirmation”.
