PM opens ₹2,343cr highways in south TN

Madurai Vadipatti ring road defaultMadurai: A Madurai ring road completed more than four years behind schedule and a bypass serving Srivilliputhur and Rajapalayam were among the projects Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated on Sunday, alongside railway station upgrades and investments at Thoothukudi’s VOC Port. The two four-lane national highways together cover 66km and cost Rs2,343 crore, according to National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
