Odonga Otto Warns Daudi Kabanda: Uganda Is Waiting For Your Apology To Gen Otafiire

Former Aruu County MP Odonga Otto has condemned Daudi Kabanda over what he described as unacceptable insults directed at veteran politician and Security Minister Gen. Kahinda Otafiire, demanding a public apology.

In a message shared on social media, Otto urged Kabanda to exercise restraint when addressing senior political figures, particularly those who sacrificed their lives for Uganda.

“@DaudiKabanda the insults you placed on @otafiire_k is totally unacceptable,” Otto wrote.He added that political disagreements should not overshadow respect for elders and their historical contributions to the country.

“We should exercise a degree of restraint especially when addressing elders moreso those who sacrificed their lives to bring Uganda this far,” Otto stated.

The former legislator insisted that Ugandans were waiting for Kabanda to apologise to Otafiire. Kabanda’s response to the criticism was not available at the time of publication.
