Nail-biting rescue: BIMS docs pull cutter from youth’s stomach

Belagavi : Doctors at Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS) successfully removed a nail cutter from the stomach of a 20-year-old man through an advanced endoscopic procedure, averting potentially life-threatening complications. The youth had accidentally swallowed the nail cutter about a week earlier. After developing abdominal discomfort, he approached BIMS for treatment.
