Meghan Reportedly ‘Exploded’ at US Team After Her Agent Confirmed She Was Dropped Following Claims She Was ‘Difficult to Work With’

In an October 8 report from royal commentator Rob Shuter, sources said that she’s livid with her team for mishandling a series of recent “embarrassing blunders.” She reportedly “exploded” at her team after social media users pointed out she appeared to be stirring a pot over an unlit gas stove in a new As Ever photo.

Now, she’s looking for UK staff, specifically an executive assistant. However, hiring is proving difficult because of her poor reputation.

“Meghan can offer a glamorous title, but the best people aren’t biting,” the source explained. “Her reputation gets there before the job offer does. People see the turnover and think, ‘Why would it be different for me?’”

The insider noted that “prospective British employees are watching” as Meghan continues to “blame the American team when things go wrong.” As a result, they don’t want “to become the next person blamed — or the next departure that makes headlines.”

The latest drama between Meghan and her employees comes shortly after her former agent, Ariel “Ari” Emanuel, shared his thoughts on her career. In a recent interview with The Times, Emanuel was asked where he sees Meghan’s future heading. He responded flatly, telling the outlet, “Here’s the great thing: I don’t have to think about that anymore.”

The Duchess of Sussex first linked up with Emanuel, the executive chairman of WME Group, in April 2023, when she signed with the agency. However, less than two years later, Page Six reported that WME “dropped” Meghan from its client list.

Sources at the time claimed that Meghan was let go for being “too demanding” and “difficult to work with.” In January 2024, she allegedly “had an outburst” and demanded a meeting filled with “decks and plans” for her career. Meghan’s breakdown reportedly escalated, and Emanuel declared that he “was done with her.”

Despite rumors she was fired, WME has confirmed it’s still working with Meghan.
