LaLiga Table After Real Betis Won 5-2

According to a report by BBC Sport on Sunday, October 11, 2026, Real Betis secured an impressive 5-2 victory over Osasuna in their LaLiga encounter.

Real Betis started the match with plenty of confidence and took the lead in the 10th minute when Isco converted a penalty after Rodrigo Riquelme was fouled inside the box. The hosts continued to put pressure on their visitors, and Abdessamad Ezzalzouli doubled their advantage in the 31st minute after receiving a pass from Juan Hernandez.

Betis went into the half-time break with a comfortable lead and returned for the second half determined to finish the job. Their advantage increased in the 48th minute when Osasuna striker Ante Budimir accidentally turned the ball into his own net while attempting to defend a dangerous attack.

However, Osasuna responded quickly, with Budimir making amends by scoring at the other end in the 51st minute before Raul Garcia reduced the deficit further five minutes later. Those two goals gave the visitors hope of making a comeback, but Betis refused to allow the match to slip away from them.

Isco restored some breathing space for the home side in the 67th minute, reacting quickly to a loose ball before sending it into the net. The goal was checked by the video assistant referee before it was allowed to stand, giving Betis a crucial advantage as the game entered its closing stages.

Osasuna tried to find another goal, but Betis remained dangerous going forward and continued to create chances. Jose Antonio Morante eventually completed the scoring in the 90th minute, sealing an emphatic victory for the hosts.

The massive three points lifted Real Betis to third position on the LaLiga table, leaving them just five points behind leaders Barcelona. Osasuna, meanwhile, dropped to 16th position following the heavy defeat, increasing the pressure on them to improve their results in the coming matches.
