Ishaq Dar condemns Houthi attack on Riyadh airport
ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has strongly condemned the Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, expressing concern over the incident and the injuries sustained by six Pakistani nationals.
In a statement on X, Dar said Pakistan was praying for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack, particularly the Pakistani citizens.
He said targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure was completely unacceptable, describing the attack as a violation of international law and a serious threat to regional peace and security.

“Such actions must stop immediately,” the deputy prime minister said.
Dar said Pakistan remained in contact with Saudi authorities and was closely monitoring the situation.
He added that the Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh had been directed to provide assistance to the injured Pakistani nationals.
The deputy prime minister also expressed solidarity with the Saudi leadership and people, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to Saudi Arabia’s security under the defence agreement between the two countries.
