He will make sure everyone is okay before he retires to bed – Awal Mohammed on Chairman Bamba

In an Official Facebook Post on 10 October 2026, Awal Mohammed offered a vivid and personal tribute to Chairman Kojo Bamba, celebrating his resilience, work ethic, and recent political victory. Awal’s reflections painted a portrait of a man whose energy and dedication have long been evident to those who have worked closely with him.

He recalled his own experience in 2018, when he and Chairman Bamba traveled together across the country campaigning for Nana B to be elected National Youth Organizer. Unlike many “macho men” who tire easily in the field, Awal emphasized that Bamba never gets tired. He recounted a night on the Fufulso‑Sawla road when, despite exhaustion and hunger, Bamba single‑handedly changed a burst tire. Awal noted that Bamba always ensures everyone else is comfortable before retiring to bed, and is invariably the first to rise the next morning. For him, this consistency reflects a true workaholic spirit that simply does not give in to fatigue.

Awal stressed that anyone who has worked with Bamba in the field would testify to the same reality: the man never tires. Given the intensity of his campaign, Awal argued that those who know him closely would not be surprised by his victory. After years of helping others win national elections, Bamba’s own triumph was secured smoothly when his turn finally came.

Since his victory, Bamba has become a trending topic, with his reputation as an operations expert unsettling the opposition. Awal pointed to his remarkable ground work in 2016 as leader of the Delta Forces, describing it as evidence of his ability to mobilize and deliver results. For him, Bamba’s arrival at this moment is perfectly timed, as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) prepares for the future.

Awal’s post also highlighted the strength of the current NPP leadership team. With Bamba’s operational prowess, John Boadu’s veteran experience as Chairman, and Justin Kodua’s invaluable institutional memory, Awal expressed confidence that the team is well‑positioned to deliver victory for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and the NPP. His words framed Bamba not only as a tireless individual but as a strategic asset whose presence strengthens the party’s machinery.

The tribute concluded with warm congratulations, underscoring Awal’s admiration for Bamba’s relentless drive and his belief that the NPP has gained a formidable force at the right time.
