Zamfara L-PRES cordinator reaffirms commitment to timely implementation of project

Spread the word The Zamfara state coordination Office of the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Alh. Mohammed Nasiru, has reaffirmed the commitment office to the effective and timely implementation of the L-PRES project in the state.Nasiru is actively participating in the ongoing L-PRES Implementation Support Mission (ISM) holding in Yola, Adamawa State.

The Mission, brings together State Project Coordinators, technical experts and the World Bank Mission team to review project implementation progress.

The Zamfara state delegation is led by the state project coordinator, Alh. Mohammed Nasiru, alongside key technical and administrative officers.

Presenting the state implementation progress report, the S Nasiru highlighted major achievements recorded by the state.

He said during the technical sessions, participating states were given the opportunity to engage with the mission team on implementation experiences, achievements, challenges and priority actions.

According to him, Zamfara L-PRES has made significant progress in construction and rehabilitation of livestock development infrastructures across the state, capacity building and trainings for project beneficiaries, input support to livestock farmers, statewide livestock vaccination exercise among others.

In their responses, the Task Team Leader (TTL) and the National Project Coordinator (NPC) of L-PRES commended the Zamfara L-PRES team for its outstanding performance, particularly highlighting the high quality of livestock infrastructure delivered by the state.

They described Zamfara as one of the performing states in the implementation of L-PRES projects in Nigeria.
