Regina Daniels Receives Prayers, Love As She Celebrates 26th Birthday In Wheelchair

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has received an outpouring of love, prayers and emotional messages from fans and colleagues after celebrating her 25th birthday in a wheelchair.

The mother of two, who had been away from the public eye for some time, shared an emotional video on her Instagram page to mark her new age, opening up about the health challenges that have affected her movement in recent months.

In the video, Regina revealed that what initially began as a minor pain gradually became more severe, leaving her unable to move around freely as she once did.

The actress explained that her condition took a different turn after the last public event she organised, her Children’s Day Carnival. Since then, she said, she has faced one health challenge after another.

“For several months now, I have lost my freedom to move around as I please. It started as something minor, very minor, but eventually led to this. Things took a major turn after the last public gathering I hosted, my Children’s Day Carnival. Since then, it has been one test after another.”

Her revelation has sparked concern among fans and colleagues, with several Nigerian celebrities taking to social media to celebrate her birthday while offering prayers for her healing and recovery.

Among those who sent her messages were Wofai Fada, Phyna, Chizi Alichi, Iyabo Ojo, Mercy Atang, Uche Elendu, Toyin Abraham and Hilda Baci, among others.

Actress Uche Elendu prayed for Regina, expressing confidence that she would experience healing and grace in her new age.

“Happy birthday darling. Gods healing hands are upon you . This will be the best birth year of your life. More Grace,” she wrote.

Her colleague Destiny Etiko also wished her a speedy recovery, writing, “Quick recovery darling. Happy blessed birthday to u.”

Iyabo Ojo, who also celebrated the actress, prayed for her healing and happiness as she marked another year.

“He will perfect your healing, fill your heart with love and blessing you with unending love and blessings once again happy birthday Queen,” she wrote.

Similarly, Queen Mercy Atang offered Regina heartfelt birthday wishes and prayers for divine healing, strength and happiness. She also encouraged the actress to cherish the joys of motherhood and the time she spends with her children.
