My Colleagues Used My Login To Do Illegal Stuffs And I Was Sacked;Then I Had A Ghastly Accident—Arukwe

Uzor Arukwe, a popular Nollywood actor, has revealed how he lost his job at a major telecommunications company while beginning his acting career

In an interview with Tea With Tay Podcast, Arukwe said that whenever he left the office to attend auditions or film shoots, some of his colleagues at the telecommunications company used his login details to carry out illegal activities.

Arukwe stated that a forensic investigation later discovered that his login had been used multiple times for illegal activities and he was sacked

Arukwe said he decided to focus on acting, which he believed God had called him to do. However, he stated that from November 2012 when he was sacked to December 2013, he did not feature in a stage play or a film. He added that he also suffered a serious motor accident during that difficult period, saying life dealt him many blows.

In Arukwe’s words: “One of those times that I would leave office for auditions or films, my colleagues would use my login and do some illegal stuffs. When forensic investigation started, they found that my login was used multiple times to that, so that was how I lost my job. So I said let me go to this thing that God has called me to do. It happened on November 2012 and till December 2013 I had not done one stage play, not even film. In the midst of that I had a ghastly motor accident. Life dealt me a lot of blows”
