LaLiga Table After Barcelona Won 3-0

According to a report by BBC Sport on Saturday, October 10, 2026, Barcelona recorded an impressive 3-0 victory over Getafe in their LaLiga encounter at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Barcelona got off to a bright start and took the lead in the second minute through Anthony Gordon, whose effort was deflected past Getafe goalkeeper David Soria. The early goal gave the hosts more confidence as they continued to dominate possession and put pressure on their visitors, who struggled to cope with Barcelona’s attacking movement.

The home side doubled their advantage in the 30th minute when Gabriel Jesus found the back of the net following a defensive mistake by Getafe’s Zaid Abner Romero. Barcelona made good use of their chances while Getafe found it difficult to build meaningful attacks, with the visitors spending most of the first half defending against their opponents.

Getafe tried to improve after the break, but Barcelona remained in control of the game and continued to create scoring opportunities through their attacking players. Lamine Yamal and Dani Olmo were among those who threatened the visitors’ defence, although Getafe goalkeeper Soria made some important saves to prevent the scoreline from becoming worse.

Barcelona eventually sealed the victory in the 73rd minute when Jules Kounde scored with his left foot after receiving an assist from Lamine Yamal. The goal was checked by the video assistant referee before it was allowed to stand, putting the result beyond Getafe’s reach.

Barcelona maintained their dominance until the final whistle, enjoying 83 per cent possession compared to Getafe’s 17 per cent, while goalkeeper Joan Garcia helped ensure that the home side kept a clean sheet.

The vital win sees Barcelona strengthen their position at the top of the LaLiga table, while Getafe’s defeat leaves them in 13th position after a difficult outing against the league leaders.
