Ishaq Dar, Maldivian FM discuss preparations for president’s Pakistan visit
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Maldivian Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer to discuss preparations for the upcoming visit of the Maldivian president to Pakistan, the Foreign Office said.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the two foreign ministers reviewed arrangements for the visit and discussed matters relating to bilateral relations between Pakistan and the Maldives.
During the conversation, Dar and Zameer reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening relations between the two countries.
Both sides also agreed to maintain close coordination to ensure that the Maldivian president’s visit to Pakistan is meaningful and productive.
The two foreign ministers stressed the importance of continued coordination in preparations for the upcoming visit, the Foreign Office said.
