I Hate Obi, If I See Him, I’ll Spit In His Face, Bite His Nose And Bite His Ear And Chew It–Tenebe

According to a report by Daily Post on Saturday, October 10, 2026, Jarrett Tenebe, the Edo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has openly expressed his strong dislike for Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), while defending the policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Tenebe made the remarks during an interview where he addressed his criticism of opposition politicians and explained his controversial “AK-47 fire” comment.

He maintained his position against individuals who have criticised Tinubu and indicated that he was prepared to confront them directly over their statements about the president.

The Edo APC chairman also expressed hostility towards Obi and Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

He stated that his disagreement with the opposition figures went beyond political differences, adding that he would not hesitate to express his displeasure if he encountered them personally.

Tenebe’s comments followed discussions about his previous statements targeting opposition politicians and his defence of the current administration.

He insisted that his position was not intended to be withdrawn, making it clear that he remained critical of those challenging Tinubu’s leadership and policies.

He further questioned Obi’s sincerity and raised concerns about his political relationship with Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who is identified in the report as his running mate under the NDC.

Tenebe’s remarks reflected his disapproval of Obi’s political decisions and his association with other opposition figures ahead of the 2027 general election.

During the interview, Tenebe reiterated his willingness to confront opposition leaders over their criticism of the president, stressing that he would openly demonstrate his displeasure if he came across them.

He also singled out Obi and Atiku as politicians towards whom he held particularly strong resentment.

“If I see them, I will spit in their faces,” he said. “As for Obi, I hate him, and I maintain that. If I see him, I will spit in his face and bite his nose. I will pretend that I want to tell him something, then bite his ear and chew it. Take it like that. I hate him,” Tenebe said.
