Glendale head coach Frank Tristan was visibly upset on the sideline. “He doesn’t need to be touching my player. You talk to me, that’s ridiculous. He needs to grow up.”
MSHSAA responded to Ozarks Sports Zone after the incident. “We were made aware of the situation, and the official in question has been suspended indefinitely,” the group said, per KY3.

“I need to know what led to this. This is absolutely ridiculous. Ref is lucky the kid is more mature than him. Kudos to that young man for not reacting to that ref,” one wrote.
“Some refs are like some cops I can put my hands on whomever I want when I want. I guarantee there is a kid in that refs history that got a penalty for touching him,” another wrote.
Similarly, the NFL hit line judge Jeff Seeman with a two-game suspension after video showed him cursing at Cardinals tight end Trey McBride.
His outburst followed a no-call on a Giants defender late in the fourth quarter. In addition, referee Adrian Hill drew one game after Hill’s confrontation with Eric Wilson in the Vikings-Dolphins game.
In both cases, the league cited “an instance of unprofessional conduct toward a player.” NFLPA executive director JC Tretter also weighed in, saying, “This kind of behavior from an official towards a player is unacceptable.“
