Brentford boss Keith Andrews speaking to Sky Sports:
"I think if we had been at our usual clinical, concise selves the opportunities were there. We weren't that throughout the game, we had moments where we were a bit rusty. The message has been to get away from international game plans and get back onto what we do. I think the performance is understandable. It says a lot that we're disappointed.
"When we do score I don't want u to take a step back, I want us to attack and have a front-footed mind set. Easier said than done but strange that that happened on both sides.
"He definitely owed us one. He's been magnificent for us this season – charismatic, a leader, a voice and huge presence. Nice to see him bring international form back to the league.
"You have to have those moments. We've come up against a good team who are just starting to click and a Ballon d'Or nominated coach. The games last season felt different and now we're enjoying the journey we're on."

Brentford boss Keith Andrews speaking to BBC MOTD: "Torn to be honest. I liked a lot today – sprit, grit, determination. There was evidence of rustiness which is understandable but I don't like to use that as an excuse but the boys have been away for three weeks so it's trying to find the balance. Then we had Kevin's [Shade] injury, Jannik [Schuster] wasn't right and came off at half time, so we got tested today. But we're also up against a team who I thought were just starting to click before the international break. But the fact that we're disappointed coming away from home to a Champions League team who spend big money tells you a lot."
On Kevin Schade injury: "He probably wasn't right at halt-time, he wanted to give it a go. He's picked up a shoulder injury so we'll see how he is in the next few days."
On rustiness: "It was strange at times, trying to find the rhythm which can be difficult and has been my main message since getting everyone back. Remembering what we are and what we do and not what they've done for their respective countries over the last few weeks. The boys aren't robots. It takes some time to do but the effort and the endeavour was there in abundance and I felt we could've nicked it."
On taking confidence from a good start to season: "We do. We've started well and we're content with a lot of aspects of what we're doing and how. We want to keep pushing hard and we are disappointed we could've played a bit better and maybe the result was there for us if we'd tidied up a few aspects of our game. Then it would have been a really good start to the season."

Manchester United made a strategic decision to strengthen their midfield this summer, which meant they did not bring in a new left-back or reinforce their forward options.
It has meant that, with Benjamin Sesko struggling for fitness, Amad Diallo's absence with an ankle problem sustained in training immediately before the opening game at Hull robbed Michael Carrick of the bench to play Bryan Mbeumo in the striking role he occupied in pre-season.
Amad's return today releases Mbeumo from the right-sided role and allows Mateus Cunha to switch from the number nine slot he is not really suited to.
It could be hugely important for Carrick.

Fulham boss Alvaro Arbeloa, speaking to Sky Sports: "It is difficult to accept that we have lost this game but it is what it is. We will try to improve what we did wrong today.
"I think we were playing so well for 60 minutes and after we scored the goal they tried to press a little higher and we played maybe so direct. We didn't need to change the gameplan when we were winning. At the end we were defending the score but we could not do it.
"Another week it is the same history so we need to improve as soon as we can. I don't think it is a real problem. It is not about the goals you concede when you score first, it is about what you do when you score the goal.
"We need to try and have the same mentality when we are winning, drawing or losing. It doesn't matter if we are winning or losing, we have our gameplan and we have to follow it.
"The pressure is always there, we need to win the first game in the Premier League so it doesn't matter who the next game is. It is about us, not the opponent."

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler speaking to BBC Sport: "It was a different performance [to the win over Arsenal] because we had difficult circumstances and faced different adversities.
"It was key for us today to have a really good defensive mindset. I feel it was a deserved win and I have to praise my players.
"They really stuck together, faced adversity no matter how hard it was. They did the basics really well and that is so crucial in a game like this, especially when you are one man down.
"The table is not that important in this moment. It is important that we have this belief in our quality and keep producing these performances. It is about focusing on performances and to keep on improving."
On Pascal Struijk's red card: "I didn't see it back. In that moment I felt it was a harsh decision. I need to have a look and then I can judge it. For me, and how they have educated us, if there is a clear wrong decision then VAR gets into the game. I didn't see a clear and obvious error there."

Evanilson pulled one back for Bournemouth
Pedro scored again before Henderson netted a free-kick
Football reporter at Stamford BridgeJordan Henderson scored his first Chelsea goals to help his new side to a dominant victory over Bournemouth.
The 36-year-old midfielder, making his home debut, fired in off the post after just 68 seconds, before adding a second after the break. Joao Pedro also scored twice, while Morgan Rogers was on target.
Evanilson pulled one back to briefly give Bournemouth hope at 3-1, but the Cherries remain winless in the Premier League under new manager Marco Rose.
Chelsea's romp began in the second minute when Henderson scored with their first shot of the game, curling a shot in off the inside of the post after being played through by Cole Palmer, who signed a new contract until 2034 in the hours before kick-off.
Just 84 seconds later, Henderson played in Rogers, whose cross-shot was flicked over Bournemouth goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic by defender Antonio Silva. Rogers was awarded his fourth goal of the season after a check by the video assistant referee.
Having given the ball away too often in the opening few minutes, Bournemouth threatened to pull one back, but Brazilian forward Rayan flashed a shot over before the Cherries briefly began to settle.
However, Henderson threatened to extend Chelsea's lead midway through the half with a lofted effort from the edge of the box.
Rayan had another one-on-one effort saved in the 35th minute before Chelsea goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez denied Ryan Christie at the other end. Bournemouth defender Silva also had a header saved just before half-time.
Bournemouth brought on Ben Gannon-Doak at half-time, but 30 seconds later they were 3-0 down.
Joao Pedro fired into the top right-hand corner after Pedro Neto reacted well to another Silva mistake in the box.
Evanilson pulled one back five minutes later when Moises Caicedo's clearance ricocheted off him after a dangerous corner fell at his feet inside the six-yard box.
But Joao Pedro tapped in a Pep Chavarria cross moments later before Henderson curled a 25-yard free-kick past Petrovic to round off the scoring.
Chelsea's first win in four matches lifts them into the top five. Bournemouth, meanwhile, are only outside of the relegation zone on goal difference.
There was a moment in the 30th minute when Palmer accidentally pushed Ryan Christie into a collision with Caicedo, with the Chelsea midfielder coming off worse.
After spending a few moments on the ground, the Ecuador international got to his feet to applause from the Stamford Bridge crowd.
The reaction was one of relief from the home supporters, who have been concerned about Chelsea's midfield options during the opening weeks of the season.
Caicedo had played only 14 minutes this season after suffering a recurrence of a calf problem during his substitute appearance against former club Brighton.
Meanwhile, his midfield partner Henderson had been recovering from an arm injury sustained at the World Cup with England after he fell awkwardly while jumping over an advertising hoarding during celebrations following a win over Mexico.
Having tried four different midfield combinations and named the same pairing in consecutive matches only once, Chelsea were able to start Henderson and Caicedo together for the first time.
Henderson impressed during his first full appearance for the club in the win at Brentford before the international break.
He was also signed for his leadership qualities as one of three players aged over 30, alongside Danny Welbeck and Emiliano Martinez, recruited to add experience to what had been the Premier League's youngest squad last season.
However, Caicedo is widely regarded as one of Chelsea's most important players, particularly after the club failed to sign any of their midfield targets on transfer deadline day.
Having conceded a league-high 12 goals in their opening five matches before Saturday, Chelsea allowed just one against Bournemouth, their lowest tally in a game against Premier League opposition this season.
A clean sheet still eludes them, but manager Xabi Alonso will be encouraged by the greater solidity provided by Caicedo and Henderson in midfield, as an attack featuring Pedro, Rogers and Palmer continues to deliver.
Bournemouth's winless run had previously been defined by conceding late goals, but early goals were the problem on Saturday.
They were arguably unfortunate to fall behind to Henderson's fine strike, but they were poor in possession throughout the first half and invited pressure.
That's exactly what happened as Rogers curled in Chelsea's second of the match.
Two goals down after two minutes and 30 seconds, it was always going to be difficult to take anything from Chelsea, but another mistake by Silva moments after the interval will be a concern for Rose.
It is only the second time Bournemouth have failed to win any of their opening six matches of a Premier League season.
The previous occasion came under Rose's predecessor Andoni Iraola, who went nine games without a win before becoming arguably the most successful manager in the club's modern history.
There are, of course, problems the German coach could not have accounted for as he tries to balance their league form with a first European campaign.
He lost star midfielder Alex Scott to injury over the international break after he started his first game for England despite carrying a knock in the build-up to the match.
Scott is now expected to be out for up to six weeks, while key attacker Eli Junior Kroupi remains is not due back until November after suffering a significant injury in pre-season.
