Governor Ododo Receives Newly Crowned Little Miss Nigeria 2026

According to report by Nigerian Tribune on Saturday, October 10, 2026, Queen Aisha Salau Audu, the newly crowned Little Miss Nigeria 2026, and Queen Pristine Somadina Chinedu, the second runner-up, were received by Ahmed Usman Ododo, the governor of Kogi State, at the Government House in Lokoja.

On October 10, following Aisha’s triumph at the national children’s pageant, the young beauty queens paid a visit to the governor.

Aisha, a native Ebira girl from Kogi State, Nigeria, who is 10 years old, won Little Miss Kogi and went on to win Little Miss Nigeria 2026.

Pristine, who competed on behalf of Imo State, placed second and took home the Little Miss Nigeria International title; her triumph brought national renown to Kogi State.

At the reception at Government House, the governor had the chance to congratulate the young people and celebrate their national stage accomplishments.

Aisha made a public statement during her visit in which she expressed her gratitude to Governor Ododo for welcoming her and her commitment to preserving the principles of her new role.

In addition, she promised to be a good role model for other kids and to represent Kogi State responsibly.

The importance of providing children with opportunities to learn about the world beyond their local communities, build self-esteem, and take on leadership roles was also highlighted at the event.
