Semi-Truck Involved in Serious East Lincoln Crash Friday Morning

LINCOLN–(KFOR Oct. 9)–Lincoln Police are investigating a hit and run on Friday morning that later led to a semi-truck crashing out at 84th and “O” Street.

According to LPD, officers were first called just before 9:30am to the hit and run report at 84th and Hazelwood Drive and while heading to the area, found out about a northbound semi-truck hit several light poles and traffic signals and came to a rest, west of the intersection of 84th and “O.” According to LPD, the driver of the semi had a medical episode and hit another vehicle before coming to a halt on the north curb of “O” Street.

It’s believed that injuries, if any involved, are not life-threatening. As of about 12pm Friday, 84th and “O” was still shut down.
