Let Amaechi Challenge Me That He Never Stole Rivers Money, I Was His CoS & I Took Over From Him—Wike

FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has stated that his supporters may prevent ADC vice-presidential candidate Rotimi Amaechi from campaigning in Rivers State if he continues making abusive statements against President Bola Tinubu

In a press briefing covered by Viable TV, Wike alleged that Amaechi stole Rivers State funds while serving as governor. He said he knows this because he served as Amaechi’s chief of staff before succeeding him as governor of Rivers State.

Wike also challenged Amaechi to confront him anywhere to deny the allegation. He added that INEC should caution Amaechi for saying only thieves will vote Tinubu in 2027 election

In Nyesom Wike’s words: “Let Amaechi challenge me anywhere and say he never stole this money. I took over from him (as governor), I was his chief of staff before I left so I know what I am talking about”
